Hey Everyone, it's giveaway time! Our friends at Lenovo have come up with a quartet of goodies for me to give away to my listeners. So what do we have? I'm so glad you asked. We have a Lenovo Wireless Multi-Device Mouse, a Smart Clock Essential, a Tab 11 Plus, and ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard. So four things to give away to you. So here's how this is going to work.
First of all, I hate to do this, but this contest is limited to the US and Canada. I know that truly sucks, and I'm sorry, but I was looking up shipping rates this weekend, and just damn. In most cases, shipping to a country that isn't the US or Canada costs more than the item itself. It's not pretty. So, if you happen to live in the US or Canada, how do you enter?
Well first of all, if you're a Patron, congratulations, you already have an entry, unless you live outside the US. Non-patrons can play too. To enter the giveaway, all you have to do is do these three things.
Leave a review for this podcast. To make it easy for you, all you have to do is go to this link, and you'll get your choice of platforms for leaving a review. Once you've written your review, move on to step 2.
Take a screenshot of the review you just left. Every platform has its own way of taking a screenshot, so do that. Then go to step 3.
Send the screenshot to contest@benefitofthedoud.com. You can also send the screenshot to my DMs on Twitter at @Deadtechnology or at @Benefitofdoud.
So that's all you have to do. Leave an honest review. I'm not asking for five stars or anything unless you love the show that is but leave an honest review on one of those platforms and you get an entry. A few other rules and caveats:
One entry per person, except for patrons. Patrons will get a patron entry and a review entry. Everyone else gets one entry only, even if you write multiple reviews. I'd really appreciate it, but it won't help you in the giveaway.
Cliff Thomas doesn't get an entry. That wouldn't be fair.
The giveaway runs until the end of the month, so you have until 11:59:59pm on December 31st to send in your entry.
One item per winner. If you have multiple entries and I pick you twice, you only get one thing.
Winners will be chosen by spreadsheet and a random number generator with Cliff on the line to audit.
Winners will be chosen in January, likely after CES, because CES gonna be crazy.
